Shopify and WhatsApp: questions
- What happens if the customer doesn't reply to the COD message?
- By default they get one reminder after 3 hours. If there's still no answer after 24 hours, the order is tagged “COD no reply” in Shopify so you can call before you dispatch.
- Can I turn the COD confirmation off?
- Yes. It's on by default and you can switch it off in your order settings. It only starts once your AI is live.
- Do I need a developer?
- No. Creating the Shopify app takes a few clicks in Shopify, and you paste three things into Chatziq. Book a demo if you'd like us to walk you through it.
- Does it work without connecting my store?
- Yes: add your website and your products are imported, or add them yourself. COD confirmation, order tracking and orders created in Shopify need the connection.
