What is a WhatsApp link?

A WhatsApp link (wa.me link) is a web address that opens a chat with a specific number, without the customer saving it first. It can carry a pre-filled message, so the customer only taps send. It works on phones and computers, and as a QR code for print.

How to use it

  1. 1. Enter your number with the country code (03 numbers are converted to +92 for you).
  2. 2. Write the first message your customers will send, in English, Urdu or Roman Urdu.
  3. 3. Copy the link or download the QR code, and put it wherever customers find you.

Can I see how many people clicked my link?
A wa.me link has no built-in click count. To see which channel brings chats, make a different pre-filled message for each place (for example "Hi, from Instagram") and count the chats that start with it.
